Early this year I was in the Spirit when all of the nations of the world and their currencies appeared before me.  I then saw the hand of the Lord tear up each currency.  I was then given understanding that the currency of Heaven would then be released.

What is the currency of Heaven?  How would you or I secure what we need to live?  The Bible speaks of a day that without a person taking the name of the beast on their  hand or forehead, they would not be able to buy or sell (Rev 13:16-17), but we are not to take that mark.  A great spiritual separation of mankind will take place over money, i.e., currency.  Eternal doom is assured for those that take on the mark (Rev 14:9-11; 15:2; 16:2).

Jesus spoke very clearly about money (i.e., wealth; mammon) in the Gospel of Luke:

Luke 16:13–14 (NASB95)

13 “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”  14 Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things and were scoffing at Him.

He also confronted the rich young ruler (Mt 19:16-26||Mk 10:17-30||Lk 18:18:30) who was unable to forsake his love of wealth in order to follow Christ.  In the end, the love of money must be dealt with in the heart of those who say they want to follow Christ.

Paul exhorts Timothy in I Timothy 6 concerning forsaking the love of money, which is the root of all sorts of evil, and instead admonishes Timothy to, “fight the good fight of faith”:

1 Timothy 6:9–12 (NASB95)

9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.  10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.  11 But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.  12 Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Paul goes on to encourage the believers in Hebrews to, “be free from the love of money” and interestingly enough, couples this admonition with a word of confident, faith-filled encouragement that the Lord is our helper –

Hebrews 13:5–7 (NASB95)

5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” 6 so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” 7 Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

Paul ends this instruction with, “…imitate their faith.”  Time and again, the Bible teaches that in order for us to walk in this life, we are called to fight the good fight of faith (I Ti 6:12 and that the righteous shall live by his faith (Hab 2:4, Ro 1:17; He 10:38).

So, what does faith have to do with the currency of Heaven?  It’s simple.  In fact, it is so simple, I missed it until I read what Reinhard Bonnke said in his April 27th, 2014 Facebook post:

FAITH is the only currency accepted in the Kingdom of heaven. The church has often courted the wealthy and powerful but in God’s kingdom the truly great are those “poor in the eyes of the world (but) rich in faith” (James 2:5). They are God’s somebodies. He has big business to transact but only with believers. His purposes are rather greater than those of politicians. When God wrote a roll of honor He never mentioned one king or an emperor. Every golden name was a man or woman made famous by faith. (Hebrews 11). Believers are God’s begotten children. The natural abilities of these men and women were not the qualities of greatness. They were ordinary people. Only faith made them extraordinary. “By faith the elders received a good report” – nothing else. Faith is the new notation from which they composed songs of triumph no one else could sing…. Jesus said “only believe”.

The Lord is calling His leaders that until now have not been recognized by man but have been in the background.  He knows them and is promoting them.  Those that know His voice are being called to take their position at the front of the Lord’s army.  They are those that know the Holy Spirit and follow Him, and another they simply will not follow (Jn 10:4-5).

It is simply that simple; hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, do what He commands which is walking by faith, trusting Him to provide and to guide, and it won’t matter what the beast is doing nor how the Lord confronts the nations and wreaks havoc upon their financial systems.   The Lord has already determined the punishment for the beast and his followers.

Our job is to believe and walk by faith in Christ (hearing what the Holy Spirit is saying and doing what He tells us to do).  This is the currency of Heaven; we dare not face the future without it!
