I can certainly appreciate Pastor Jack Hibbs’ encouragement for Christians to stand and fight against California’s Assembly Bill #495, urging them to meet and protest the bill on August 19 at the state capital.  However, on December 21, 2024, the Lord spoke to me to “tell those who have ears to hear to get out of the state [California] while they still can,” which I have written about in several blog posts.  I have also produced videos and livestreams concerning the Lord’s warning, as seen in my latest video, “Get Out While You Still Can!” published on August 8, 2025.  Why the discrepancy between what the Lord has revealed to me and Pastor Jack Hibbs’ warning?  Is there a discrepancy?

For one, we must discern the difference between what the Lord is saying and what man is saying.  Man can produce good ideas and reasons to take on a battle, but they may not be God’s ideas.  There is a popular saying, “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread,” which isn’t strictly biblical, but it does point to the truth revealed in Scripture.  The Bible provides examples of those who decided to fight a battle, even in the name of the Lord, but were never called to fight. Such decisions can lead to defeat, if not death.  An example of this can be found in Numbers 14:39-45, where the Hebrews went to fight the Amorites and were soundly defeated.  In this case, they were attempting to take the promised land without the Lord!  Later, when Moses recounts the disaster, he labels their sin “presumptuous” when they went to war against the Lord’s orders (Deut 1:41-46).  This is a very real and current problem today in the Church worldwide.

As Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt into the desert, he followed the precise directions of the Lord.  When he deviated from the Lord’s instruction in anger by striking the rock instead of speaking to it (Nu 20:10-12; Deut 3:23-28), the Lord judged him immediately, telling him that he would not be allowed to cross over into the promised land.  In the case of Joshua, he was instructed to follow step-by-step instructions as he led the people across the Jordan to take Jericho.  It was the Lord’s strategy that gave the people victory at Jericho, but how quickly they returned to their own thinking and planning without revelation from the Lord, which led to their defeat at Ai (Josh 7:1-8:29).

When David was established as king over Israel, the Philistine army set out to wage war against Israel.  The first thing David did was to inquire of the Lord whether he was to go up against the enemy.  The Lord answered, saying that he should go up and that God would be with him.  It is in this battle that David came to know the Lord as the God of the breakthrough (2 Sam 5:20).  When the Philistines came out a second time, David did not move out on his own but inquired of the Lord again.  In this instance, the Lord told him the following:

“You shall not go directly up; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees.  And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam tree, then you shall act promptly, for then the Lord will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines” (2 Sam 5:22-25).

David and his army were victorious again.  The Church would do well to observe the specific instructions the Lord gave to David that he had to follow to see victory.  This is our roadmap forward in the days ahead, for the Lord has said, “The sin of presumption will be dangerous if not deadly in the days ahead.”

We have the account of King Jehoshaphat of Judah, who received the report that a vast army from Aram was approaching Jerusalem (2 Chr 20:1-4).  Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah determined to seek the Lord first, rather than strike out on their own.  As a result of their humility and prayer, the Spirit of the Lord came upon a Levite named Jahaziel (2 Chr 20:14-19), who prophesied that “You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf…” (2 Chr 20:17a); which was the work of the Holy Spirit who the Church desperately needs to know, honor, recognize His voice and obey.  In the midst of Jehoshaphat and the people praising the Lord, He caused the combined forces of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to destroy one another, where no one escaped (2 Chr 20:24).

In the case of King Hezekiah, we see him facing the real threat of Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, who had invaded Judah, seized all the fortified cities, and approached the gates of Jerusalem (2 Chr 32).  Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah did not act in presumption, but prayed to the Lord, seeking His plan and deliverance (Is 37).  As a result, the Lord sent His angel, who struck down 185,000 of the Assyrian army in a single night.  In this account, Hezekiah was not directed to fight the Assyrian army.  Instead, he waited for the Lord to bring deliverance that resulted in the complete annihilation of the enemy.  This was something that Hezekiah and his army could never have done alone.

The Church must realize that it cannot win battles the Lord has not called it to fight.  It is one thing to recognize a real and imminent threat, but once understanding the reality of a situation, the Church must seek the Lord for His plan and strategy.  Given His current warning to “all who have ears to hear to get out of California while you still can,” it appears that the Lord is calling His forces to stand down and leave.  He has an alternate strategy that includes multiple and thorough judgments of California; the sin and wickedness in the state have come up before Him.

Could the Lord be using AB #495 and Pastor Hibbs’ alert to bring everyone in California to attention and realization of the danger of living there?  That is a very distinct possibility.  However, the Lord’s command to leave California is not based upon the defeat or approval of the bill that will, if passed, undoubtedly wreak havoc upon children and families if it is voted into law.

The Topic of “Leaving Your Home” & the Bible

In this essay, I assume that you have some knowledge of the content within the extensive amount of prophetic documentation I have written and/or watched the videos I have produced regarding what the Spirit has revealed to me since 2014 concerning judgment coming to California.  The goal in this section is not to use the Bible to prove to you that the Lord is telling you to leave California.  The purpose is to provide a biblical framework from which those of you who are faced with the prospect of leaving can judge and test the prophecies summarized at the end of this document.  Leaving one’s homeland and kindred is not a foreign topic to the Bible.  It is central to what it preaches.

The thought of leaving one’s home, state, or country can be a daunting one to consider.  It is interesting to note that this topic is covered extensively in the Bible, laying a strong foundation for testing what the Lord is saying about leaving California.  What follows is a survey of key characters portrayed in the Bible who faced the same decision.

First, we have the important and relevant testimony of Noah, who obeyed the word of the Lord concerning the destruction of man, animals, creeping things, and birds from the earth through a mighty flood He would bring (Gen 6:5-8, 13-22).  Noah was called to build an ark to save his family and two of every living thing (birds, animals, of every creeping thing of the ground (Gen 6:20)).  When Noah’s family entered the ark, they were leaving everything and everyone they knew to allow the Lord to bring judgment to the entire earth; nothing was going to be the same.  Noah had favor with God, who continues to establish the foundational truth that He speaks to those who are in covenant with Him, and He does reveal the future.  Never let anyone tell you differently, no matter how many degrees follow their name.

In the case of Abram, the Lord commanded that he leave his country, relatives, and his father’s house and go “to a land that I will show you…” (Gen 12:1d).  The Lord was calling him to move out and promised to guide him into the unknown, far beyond his reasoning and logic.  Relevant to this story is what the Lord spoke through His prophet, Isaiah, saying the following:

Isaiah 55:8–9 (NASB95)

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.

From the above verses, we learn a powerful truth.  If we are to receive His thoughts, which are as high as the heavens are above the earth, they must come from outside of ourselves; they must come by revelation of the Holy Spirit that will be confirmed through His Scriptures.  We can, and must, study the Bible using the tools of Biblical exegesis and interpretation; however, we will not fully understand what the Scriptures are teaching without the Holy Spirit leading us into all truth.  To think otherwise is the epitome of presumption.  Jesus was clear concerning the role of the Holy Spirit:

John 16:13–15 (NASB95)

13 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 “He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. 15 “All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore, I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

Abram’s nephew, Lot, when given the choice of where to live, chose the valley of the Jordan because it was well-watered and appeared as the garden of the Lord (Gen 13:10).  I can only imagine that the land Lot chose was beautiful in every respect.  Having visited California several times, I certainly agree with residents and many others that it is beautiful.  The beauty of the ocean and coastline, the mountains, redwoods, rivers, and climate are unlike any state in the Union.  However, identical to the land of the valley where Sodom and Gomorrah were located, the Lord views many of the inhabitants of California to be “wicked exceedingly and sinners against the Lord” (Gen 13:13).  Lot looked at the land and what it offered. Still, he tolerated the wickedness of his neighbors, which was a choice that came close to claiming his life and the lives of his family.  We can only speculate as to why he tolerated the evil that surrounded him for as long as he did, ultimately choosing men from the wicked city of Sodom to be husbands for his daughters.  Even though the Bible states that Lot was vexed by the lives of the wicked people of the valley, the Lord rescued him not only from the judgment and destruction He sent, but He also rescued Lot and his family from his spiritual compromise, which included Lot’s decision to give his daughters in marriage to wicked and ungodly men.  Peter spoke about Sodom and Gomorrah:

2 Peter 2:6–10 (NASB95; emphasis mine)

6 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter; 7 and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men 8 (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds), 9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties,

The Lord decided that it was time for Him to release judgment upon the inhabitants of the valley.  In like manner, the time has come for the Lord to bring devastating judgment to ALL of California, which has already begun in the wave that hit on January 7, 2025, in the form of the Palisades fires in Los Angeles.  Could it be that the Lord has deemed that the wickedness in California, which He says is a sister to Vancouver, B.C., sets the trend for evil worldwide, far too great a temptation for the members of your family to stand against?  Are you called to continue to be an “influencer” in that state?  No!  The Bible is clear in that we are called to preach the truth, and if they will not hear and receive the Gospel, we are to shake the dust off our shoes as a testimony against them and LEAVE.  In this case, I would submit that the Lord has called Christians in California to preach the truth by leaving those who refuse to submit to Jesus Christ and believe His Gospel.  Given that the Lord has repeatedly spoken of the judgment He intends to bring to California, is this not the confirmation that you need concerning what the Bible already proclaims?  I would submit that it is.

It seems appropriate here to point out other relevant issues concerning the wickedness and lawlessness in California.  California is a stronghold for the Democratic Party, holding a supermajority with more than two-thirds of the seats in the State Assembly and the State Senate.  They also control the offices of the Secretary of State and Attorney General.  Notable elected officials including Governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Senators Adam Schiff and Alex Padilla and former Speaker of the House, House Representative Nancy Pelossi, along with 43 Democrats who eclipse the nine California Republicans in the House of Representatives stand unified against Federal law and policies regarding sanctuary cities, illegal immigration, transgender ideology and DEI programs being used in public institutions.  These are undeniable facts.  In addition, the state stands in large part to support abortion and is viewed as the epicenter of the pornography industry.  Hollywood continues to produce films and television shows that do nothing to promote Christian values or Biblical principles, and has proven to be decidedly antichrist and anti-Bible, demonstrated by the many leading actors and actresses who are vocal regarding their stand against Christianity and, with few exceptions, demonstrate their contempt for the Bible with the lives they lead.  As the Lord has said, California is indeed a trend-setter for evil.  Given all the above, Assembly Bill #495 has an excellent chance of becoming state law.  However, even if it fails to pass, the Lord is calling everyone out of the state.

If this weren’t enough, even with over 17,000 churches in California, any attempt for the Christian vote to count for standing against the sin that flows like a sewer in the state, the past and future gerrymandering of voting districts that Gov. Newsom plans to implement will only reinforce the further decline of Christian values within the representation of both state and federal branches of government.  Is California similar to Sodom and Gomorrah?  Without a doubt.  However, the Lord has stated that all of America is like Sodom and Gomorrah.  So why is the Lord calling everyone out of California?  Because His judgments are true and righteous (Ps 50:6, 96:13; Rev 19:2).  He is proving Himself righteous and holy by calling those with ears to hear to get out of California while they still can before it is too late.  Those who will not listen prove themselves to be who they are: 1) Those who say they follow Him but do not hear His voice, proving themselves either to be ignorant of hearing His voice, or false, lawless, and rebellious, or 2) Those who have no intention of following Christ nor have regard for the teachings of the Bible.

The Holy Spirit has revealed that the Lord will gallop with judgment across the United States.  It appears that He intends to establish the precedent of severe judgment with the example of His wrath that will pour out upon California, even as Sodom and Gomorrah preach to the whole world the price of living in sin and wickedness (2 Pt 2:6).  Lot hesitated to leave Sodom even at the urgent warning of two angels sent by the Lord (Gen 19:16).  We dare not presume that we will receive the same angelic care.  The point is that Lot knew better than to stay and still hesitated.  I would venture to say that you know better than to stay if you are a follower of Christ.

Continuing our journey through the Bible, we have the account of Jacob, who was told by Isaac, at the prompting of Rebekah (Gen 27:46), to leave and go to Paddan-aram to the house of Bethuel, his mother’s father.  Once there, he was to take a wife.  If Jacob had not left his home, he never would have married Leah or Rebekah, and more importantly, he would not have encountered the Lord in Bethel (Gen 28:11-22).  During the encounter, the Lord revealed that He would continue to fulfill His covenant with him and his descendants.  Between Leah and Rebekah, they bore twelve sons to Jacob, who became the twelve patriarchs of Israel, except Reuben and Levi.  This was a monumental piece of the Lord’s progressive revelation within the Bible.

The Lord then called Jacob to leave his home once again and return to Canaan (Gen 31:3, 32:9).  On his journey, he encountered the angels of the Lord at a place he named Mahanaim (Gen 32:1-2). Then he wrestles with God face to face, at the place he named Peniel, where he hears the words, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed. (Gen 32:28, 35:10)”  On this journey, the Lord establishes and transforms Jacob’s true identity in Him – Jacob is now Israel, which means “he who strives with God.”  This is almost identical to the Lord changing Abram’s name to Abraham, establishing his identity as the father of many nations (Gen 17:5).  Equally important is the Lord changing Sarai’s name to Sarah, for she would be the mother of nations and “kings of peoples shall come from her” (Gen 17:15-17); her identity and equal importance in the covenant was sealed and established forever.  This is a foundational truth concerning women that the Church has overlooked for far too long.

Moses was forced to leave his family, along with all that he knew and enjoyed in Egypt.  Arriving at Midian, he takes a wife and, after forty years of tending sheep, encounters the Lord in a burning bush (Ex 3:1-6).  There is a consistent pattern in the Biblical character leaving his land, which brings him to an encounter with the Lord, laying a foundation for the rest of his life.  Moses is then called (Ex 3:7-12) and charged (together with Aaron) to deliver the Hebrews from their bondage in Egypt (Ex 6:13) and given supernatural powers, which is yet another topic today’s Church knows little of, and of which the Lord revealed that “My Church despises her birthright”, which is the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit.  It was for good reason the Holy Spirit birthed the Church with supernatural power, and that Paul told the Corinthian church that “the kingdom of God does not consist in words, but power” (I Cor 4:20) and “that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God” (I Cor 2:4).

Moses and the people of Israel are called out of Egypt, but not before they were to witness the destructive power of the Lord that comes to a climax with the killing of all of Egypt’s firstborn and the annihilation of Pharaoh’s army at the Red Sea.  Their experiences were critical in understanding the Lord and who He is for their journey ahead.  It was when they arrived at Mt. Sinai in Midian that the Lord would establish His covenant, descending in fire, smoke, and the violent shaking of the mountain, along with the sound of the trumpet that grew louder and louder (Ex 19:18-19), so that they would be protected by Him as they traveled and took possession of the promised land.  Before and during their journey, Moses and Israel encountered the Lord in dramatic and powerful ways.

We can now fast forward to Jesus, who left Heaven, sent by the Father to preach the Gospel and die for our sins.  Where would any of us be if Jesus had not left His Glory and “emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men” (Ph 2:7).  He humbled Himself to the point of the cross, pouring out His life and blood that we might be saved from eternal separation from God.  Jesus is the example set before those called to leave their homes, thinking it is too great a sacrifice.

As we come to the close of this portion of our study, we must heed the words of the Apostle James, who wrote the following:

James 4:13–17 (NASB95)

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” 14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” 16 But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil. 17 Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Many in California, or anywhere else in the world for that matter, have been thinking that they will stay in their communities and homes until the Lord takes them home, which is the final journey.  Yet, James teaches that “all such boasting is evil” and that to think in this way is a demonstration of arrogance, not realizing that we are just a vapor.  The reality is that we do not know what the Lord has for us until He reveals it to us.  In a vision, the Lord revealed to me that He was ripping up the plans of men – all men.  Later, He revealed that I was to tell His Church that He was moving us from where we are and who we are, to where and who He wants us to be.  This is a continuation of the pattern taught in the Bible for His people.  This being the case, we can trust that we will encounter the Lord in new and fresh ways, which will reveal greater truths of who He is.  Why is this important?  It is the truth that comes from experiential knowledge of Him, encapsulated in the Hebrew word yada used throughout the Old Testament, that we will preach to the world.  We were not called to preach a powerless Gospel, but one of great power, demonstrating to all that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

The Lord has begun to move in judgment against all nations, and He will bring a differentiation between those who follow Him and those who do not.  His Glory will be upon those who lose their lives for His sake to find true life (Mt 10:39, 16:25||Mk 8:35||Lk 9:24, 17:33||Jn 12:25).

We dare not leave our study without remembering the Lord’s command to His disciples:  “Go into all the world and preach [in word and deed] the gospel to all creation” (Mk 16:15; emphasis mine), as well as “Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Mt 28:19). Before His ascension, Jesus told them that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon them and that they would be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the remotest part of the earth (Acts 1:8).  Ultimately, they would leave what they knew and preach in other lands.

Again, I submit that it is time to move and follow the Holy Spirit out of California to the place that He will reveal.  One should expect little to no revelation concerning further direction until the decision to unconditionally surrender to His will has been submitted to Him.  The truth of the Biblical narrative is that revelation is frequently given amid obedience, not before.

Jesus Taught Us That We Must Hear the Voice of the Spirit of God & Obey

Without the work of the Holy Spirit to open the Scriptures to our minds and guide us into all the truth, we will never arrive.  In addition, Jesus tells us plainly that we must hear the Spirit speaking, because if we don’t, we will miss not only the revelation of Christ and His word, but that which He knows of what is to come, i.e., the future.  Jesus did not leave us without sending the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to lead, guide, and show us the way forward.  Therefore, we must expect the Holy Spirit to speak to us along the way and give us direction when He knows it is needed.  This is what it means to walk with Christ by His Holy Spirit and to abide in the Vine, who is Jesus.

At this moment, He is speaking to those with ears to hear, warning them to leave California while they still can.  He didn’t reveal this without providing the context of all that He has revealed concerning California.  In other words, He provides numerous confirmations that are biblical (see Deut 17:6, 19:15; Mt 18:16; 2 Cor 13:1; 1 Tim 5:19; Heb 10:28) in determining the truth of a matter, which in this case is whether to leave California.  What are these confirmations?  They are the multiple prophetic visions and words the Lord has released to me since 2014, which are summarized and inserted at the end of this document.  The revelation is extensive and should not be disregarded as the foolish speculations of some man’s mind.  They are based on multiple, clear, and straightforward visions from the Holy Spirit spanning 11 years, providing a comprehensive understanding of the judgment the Lord has decided to bring to California, with specific revelation concerning Los Angeles and San Francisco.  The devastation He will bring will be as appalling as it is catastrophic.

The prophetic summary refers to eight visions (archived on our website) that provide the necessary and consistent elements of repetition and progression.  When the Lord repeats Himself, what He is revealing is sure to come to pass.  This is understanding that comes through Joseph as he, by the Lord, provides the interpretation to Pharaoh’s dreams saying, “God has told Pharaoh what He is about to do”, and “Now as for the repeating of the dream to Pharaoh twice, it means that the matter is determined by God, and God will quickly bring it about” (Gen 41:25b, 32).  Why did the Spirit of God warn Pharaoh of the disaster that was to come?  Because the Lord wanted people to be saved through Joseph, His servant, who would work by the revelation given to him, to save not only Egypt, but also other kingdoms and people, including his own family.

In like manner, the Father has sent His Son, Jesus the promised Christ, to tell us how we must be saved; “for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). It is a message for the entire world that came forth from Jerusalem, “set at the center of the nations” (Ezk 5:5b).  During the week before His death upon the cross, Jesus needed to reveal the future to His disciples concerning the coming of the Holy Spirit whereby they would be empowered to preach the Gospel through words and deeds of power.  As Paul stated, “The kingdom of God does not consist in words, but power” (I Cor 4:20).  Sadly, this is a truth lost to the Church today.

Through His Holy Spirit, by His power and in His mercy, He has now proclaimed that all who have ears to hear His voice are to leave California while they still can.  Is prophecy a demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power today?  It is, for the Lord still speaks through His Church through the gift of prophecy (I Cor 12:10) as well as the ministry of the prophet (I Cor 12:28, 14:29; Eph 4:11), to say nothing of the other gifts Paul taught about to the Corinthians.  Anyone who preaches anything different is, at best, ignorant and, at worst, a liar.

The Time Has Come to Leave California

Jesus told his disciples that “Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or city, shake the dust off your feet” (Mt 10:14||Mk 6:11||Luke 9:5 & 10:11; Acts 13:50-51, 18:6).  I submit that the time for preaching the word in California and wrestling with the wickedness pent up in the hearts of California inhabitants has been brought to a close by the Lord.  The wickedness of California, which the Lord calls the wicked sister of Vancouver, B.C., has come up before the Lord.  The Spirit of Christ has revealed that California and Vancouver set the trend for evil worldwide.  He has decided to pour out His wrath and vengeance upon the entire state, while at the same time revealing that special judgment will be poured out upon Los Angeles and San Francisco.  In the case of Los Angeles, the Lord revealed that the Palisades fires were only the beginning of the judgment He intends to bring there.  It is the mercy of God that, as of this date, very few, if any, permits have been issued to those who lost their homes in January of this year.  Why?  Because it is time to get out rather than rebuild, as more waves of judgment and destruction will undoubtedly come to Los Angeles.  I would submit that it is the mercy of the Lord to close the doors to attempts to rebuild there.

We must discern the times and what the Lord is saying now, in our day.  Noah was called to preach salvation and judgment through the work of building an ark in preparation for a flood that no one, other than the members of his family, believed would come.

Abram moved when the Lord said it was time to leave.  He didn’t even know where he was going!  But God is faithful to reveal His plan, step by step, as we abide with Him and align with His plan and strategy.  Abram’s first decision was whether or not to pack up.  With his intentional obedience, the Lord undoubtedly began to reveal His direction as he set out for Canaan (Gen 12:5). This is a demonstration of faith: hearing the voice of the Lord, believing Him, and walking in obedience to what He reveals.

When the Lord revealed that the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was very great, Abram, having been renamed Abraham (Gen 17:5), interceded for the righteous (Gen 18).  Abraham realized that judgment from the Lord was imminent.  The Lord heard Abraham’s prayer and his concern, revealing that He would not “…destroy it [Sodom] on account of the ten [righteous]” (Gen 18:32).  What the Bible reveals is that all of the cities in the valley area, including Sodom and Gomorrah, were destroyed by fire and brimstone, except for Zoar where Lot and his family were permitted to escape to.  Are there more than ten righteous people in California?  I have no doubt millions of righteous groan every day because of the wickedness and sin in that state.  So, what is the Lord doing?  He has sent multiple prophetic warnings to the righteous, to those who have ears to hear, to leave before they, too, are swept away.

Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb 11:6); therefore, it is required that once we seek and hear from the Lord, we must follow His instructions and commands.  He isn’t playing games.  What He has revealed concerning His intentions to bring judgment to California is not a game.  It is profoundly serious business; the lives of approximately 40 million people who live in the state hang in the balance.  In the case of Nineveh, the Lord relented from the calamity He declared He would bring when they repented.  In the case of California, He is calling everyone out because He has determined to pour out His vengeance and wrath upon the entire state.

No doubt some do not believe that the Lord would go as far as to pour out His wrath on California.  The prophet Jeremiah repeatedly proclaimed the Lord’s judgment, which ultimately led to the destruction of Jerusalem.  As he lamented, he revealed, “The kings of the earth did not believe, nor did any inhabitants of the world, that the adversary and the enemy could enter the gates of Jerusalem” (Lam 4:12).  So, it is in our day.  Regrettably, the Church and her pastors stand insulated against the voice of the Spirit of God and against the messages from the prophets the Lord has sent.  I am not the only one proclaiming that the Lord intends to pour out His wrath upon California.

Rick Joyner, the founder of MorningStar Ministries, wrote a special bulletin in 2011 about a devastating earthquake that would hit California, which you can read here: https://msm.morningstarministries.org/publications/day-world-changed.  He now tells people to leave California if the Lord hasn’t told them differently.

The Lord has commanded me to tell people to leave while they still can, which is different from, but close to, the position that Rick decided to take, outlined in his bulletin, in light of the revelation he received.  The Bible teaches that we know in part and we prophesy in part (1 Cor 13:9), which is precisely why we as the Body of Christ need one another to vector in on what the Lord is saying by testing what we are hearing (1 Cor 14:29) with the Scriptures and by the Holy Spirit.  Therefore, it is incumbent upon every believer to test prophetic messages and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  What is clear is that the Lord is leading us forward, and we have not been this way before (Josh 3:2-4).

The Lord Has Decided to Tear Down

You may have been called to California to labor, minister, preach, and teach, to plant and build up, but there is a time for everything:  “A time to tear down and a time to build up” (Ecc 3:3).  The Lord spoke through Jeremiah the prophet to Baruch his scribe, saying:

Jeremiah 45:3–5 (NASB95; emphasis mine)

3 ‘You said, “Ah, woe is me! For the Lord has added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning and have found no rest.” ’ 4 “Thus you are to say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Behold, what I have built I am about to tear down, and what I have planted I am about to uproot, that is, the whole land.” 5 ‘But you, are you seeking great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I am going to bring disaster on all flesh,’ declares the Lord, ‘but I will give your life to you as booty in all the places where you may go.’ ”

Like Baruch, the Lord is granting life to all who leave.  The time to step aside and allow the Lord to do what He must do in California has come.  We must know when it is time to go and when it is time to leave.  We work for the Lord; we take our orders from Him unless we move in the habitual sin of presumption, which unfortunately many practice.  The Lord said to me in 2014:  “The sin of presumption will be dangerous if not deadly in the days ahead.”  Why?  Because we will see the Lord pour out His judgment not only on California, but across the entire United States, as well as all the nations of the world.  We need to be where the Lord wants us to be and do what He tells us to do.  We must have His intelligence in real-time, much like U.S. military forces rely on real-time intelligence.  Without current and precise information, every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces knows any mission has the very real potential for failure and defeat; for us, precise spiritual intel comes only by hearing and following the Holy Spirit.  Therefore, we must have ears that hear, which comes about by crying out to the Lord in humility, coupled with desperation, and asking Him to allow us to hear His voice every day.

The Bible teaches that we were bought with a price and our lives are not our own (I Cor 6:20, 7:23).  Jesus taught us that if we want to follow Him, we must deny ourselves, pick up our cross daily and follow Him (Lk 9:23||Mt 16:24||Mk 8:34).  Dying to visions we have for California is imperative in allowing the Lord to do what He must do, for His judgments are true and righteous (Ps 19:9, 119:137).  A great deal is at stake for California, for America, and the nations of the world.  In October of 2013, I experienced a dying to the revival that I wanted for America, hoping that judgment would not have to come.  I discuss this experience in the overview section of the prophetic summary provided at the end of this document.

David cried out to the Lord to be saved from the sins of presumption (Ps 19:13).  It was presumption that caused David to move the ark of the covenant in a way other than what the Lord had already instructed (Nu 4:5, 15, 17-20; 2 Sam 6:1-11; I Chr 15:2, 26).  Unfortunately, this led to the death of Uzzah, who followed David’s instructions rather than the instructions set forth by the Lord and written in the law.  Taking authority where it is not given by the Lord leads to disaster.  This example serves as a strong warning to all pastors in California that they must warn their people about what the Lord is saying, rather than what they want.  If they denounce His prophetic warning, many will die and/or suffer needlessly.  This is the central reason why every Christian must take His command seriously; shirking our responsibility before the Lord by depending solely on any pastor for hearing from the Lord is not biblical.  We are all called to hear the voice of the Spirit of Truth (Josh 2:2-4); Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice”(Jn 10:27; also see Jn 10:3, 5, and 16).

Presumption was the sin of Adam and Eve, and it is this same sin that all of us wrestle with.  We must cooperate with the Holy Spirit by putting our flesh to death by seeking the Lord, listening to His voice, and obeying.  He wants to be our Shepherd to guide us through the days ahead as judgment falls on our left and our right.  As we stay under His Glory in obedience, then and only then can He protect us as a thousand fall at our side and ten thousand at our right hand (Ps 91:7).  The Lord’s protection is conditional on our obedience to His word and His Spirit.

We must understand that we, as the Church, the Body of Christ, have entered a new season, which was revealed to me in a vision released in July 2024.  As such, we dare not rely on what has happened in the past and believe we can carry it into the new season we are in.  As the Lord said to Joshua, He is saying to us: “Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel” (Josh 1:2a).  Only by hearing and obeying the voice of the Lord could Joshua and the Hebrews take the promised land.  This same principle must be applied in our day; we cannot look to the past or even to what we think we know.  We must follow the Spirit of God forward.  To deviate from His plan, either intentionally or unintentionally, will be “dangerous if not deadly in the days ahead.”  These are the days in which we live.

Now, therefore, it is incumbent upon everyone with ears to hear and a heart to serve the Lord to leave California.  The Lord is calling everyone to urgently remove themselves from all of California, even as Lot and his family were called upon to leave the valley quickly by the urging of the angels sent to deliver them from the wrath of the Lord (Gen 19:12-17).  As with Sodom and Gomorrah, whose “outcry has become so great before the Lord that the Lord has sent us [the angels] to destroy it” (Gen 19:13; clarity added), so the outcry of the state of California has come up before the Lord!  Flee out of the state while you still have time!  Escape for your life!  Preach to your family, friends, and everyone else in California by leaving.  Once you decide to go, tell Him what your decision is and trust Him to reveal the next steps.

Executive Brief

  • The wickedness of California has come up before the Lord, and He has decreed judgment against the entire state. His word: “Get out of California while you still can.”
  • Covid-19 was the starting point of the Lord’s judgment against the nation and the world. This was followed by the massive fires in California that began in August 2020.  The Lord waited for those in California to respond with repentance, but no one did.
  • Specific judgment has been decreed against San Francisco & Los Angeles
    • Los Angeles will be pounded with successive waves of judgment; the January 2025 Palisades fires were only the beginning.
    • The devastation that the Lord will release against San Francisco will be so massive that it will affect the entire nation.
  • The Lord has declared, “None are as guilty as My Church.”
  • Judgment is decreed for the entire United States of America. Major cities will appear as if they were a war zone.  The Lord intends to shake California and the nation.
  • Civil War will come to America and last longer than anyone anticipates. Christians are called to seek the Lord as to how to prepare.

Overview – In the fall of 1996, the Lord revealed through a vision that He would bring judgment to the entire United States, although I did not receive the interpretation until many years later. The Lord began revealing His intention to release judgment specifically against San Francisco in January 2014.  This was part of a dream/vision that had to do with judgment coming against the entire United States.

This was preceded by a time of struggle and seeking the Lord because of an internal sensation that I was “falling” on the inside.  For the entire month of October 2013, I felt that something was very wrong with me spiritually.  I consulted friends who could offer no meaningful counsel concerning what I was going through.  I was desperate for an answer and continued to seek the Lord to discover the root of my problem.

Finally, at the end of October 2013, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, saying, “You must surrender the United States to Me to do what must be done.”  Immediately, I knew that He would bring judgment to America.  For years, I had been praying for the Lord to bring revival to America.  I had hoped and prayed that judgment would not have to come and that the outpouring of His Spirit and the resulting revival would fix everything.  However, the Lord made it clear that my desires were not in line with His desires and plans for America.  I had to surrender and die to my vision for America’s future for His.  This was truly a dying experience for me, and yet I did surrender to His will.  When I did, the feeling of “falling” and all that I had experienced during October lifted.  I had been confronted by the fact that I was on the wrong track, essentially working cross-grain with the Lord’s intentions.

  1. Judgment for San Francisco (Jan 2014)
    • In a vision, I saw the foot of the Lord (that seemed to cover multiple states) with His heel upon San Francisco, California, with His foot pointed due east. An earthquake then emanated from His heel, where the most significant effects appeared to be in the San Francisco area.  The quake stretched two-thirds to three-quarters across the entire U.S. from West to East.  At the time I received the vision until now, I do not believe that the Spirit is saying that a literal earthquake will stretch across the entire nation but rather is a symbol of the immense devastation that will come to that region and will be felt across the nation; when one suffers, we all suffer (I Cor 12:26).  America will suffer because of the devastation He has revealed He will bring.  It will also be an indication of the presence of the Lord and that He is moving in power to war against the United States (Zech 14:3-5).
  2. Destruction for Major U.S. Cities & the Lord Rebukes Pastors (June 11, 2020)
    • “America, are you a country of independence? You are not independent of Me!”
    • “I am the foundation of your Constitution. I, Myself, can rip up the Constitution.  There is no foundation deeper than Me.  You rest on the founding fathers who rested upon Me.”
    • “America, I will clean you of your harlotry. With My own feet, I will trample down those who call themselves the “Church” but do not follow Me; My judgment will be upon them.  I will pour out My anger and My vengeance, for none are as guilty as My Church.  I have taken hold of My sword and I am pulling it from its sheath, for I will have righteousness in America.”
    • Vision of the Lord walking through America from west to east, bringing judgment.
    • Those who call themselves the “Church” will be destroyed.
    • The Spirit then reminded me, “Did I not say that you would be appalled at what I would do? You have seen fires, but you haven’t seen anything yet.  The destruction that I revealed to My prophets years ago would come to major metropolitan cities will come to pass.” – [Note:  The California fires that started in August 2020 and became the largest recorded fire in California history, burning 4.4 million acres.]
    • There will be no hiding place from the Lord.
    • Those who see the cities where His judgment has been released will say, “It looks like war has taken place here.”
    • We will all be appalled at what the Lord does; “You’ve seen fires, but you haven’t seen anything yet.”
    • There will be desolate skyscrapers.
    • I saw fire and brimstone falling from Heaven because of the depth of the sin in America, which is that of Sodom and Gomorrah
  3. Judgment Coming to Los Angeles, CA (June 20, 2020)
    • Vision of the Lord walking toward a column of military vehicles, including tanks and trucks.
    • He walked to the head of the column.
    • He points to the area where the vehicles would be stationed to begin the assault.
    • “I will bring My judgment to this city because they have not responded to Me.”
    • He then revealed the letters of the city – LA.
    • In my heart, I knew LA would be destroyed.
  4. The Judgment of the Fires in California & the Northwest Demand a Response – Repent! (September 25, 2020)
    • The Lord was watching the wildfires in California and the Northwest.
    • With tears in His eyes, the Lord said, “They are not responding.”
    • The Lord spoke of fires that would be massive.
  5. The Days of the Wrath of the Lord (January 10, 2021)
    • Great wrath and judgment will be released upon the United States.
    • There will be loss of life across America as the Lord wields His sword across the nation.
    • “You are in dangerous and perilous times…”
    • The Lord declares, “Shortly and in a little while I will release My wrath. I am turning My face toward Los Angeles and San Francisco for the darkness in these cities is deep and it is real.  So, the judgment that I have spoken about will come not many days from now.”
    • The shaking that I am bringing to the country will continue and will bring fear to the wicked. But it will also cause fear within the Church because their eyes are not upon me, nor do they know Me, and that I move in power.  So, while I am moving in judgment, comfort My people.  I will move in power among them and I will bring comfort.”
    • “I am moving My people from where they are to where I want them to be. Tell them I am shepherding them forward.  Change, change!  Great change!  An upheaval is coming.”  I then saw a rolling wave of judgment and change flowing from the West Coast to the East Coast and then back again.
    • “I will speak to Donald Trump and will reveal to him what he must do. He will move up and take the platform that I have prepared for him, and he will do what I have called him to do.  Everything that I have said concerning him will come to pass.”
    • The Lord will confront Congress as a whole as well as individual members…they have lost their fear of Me, but I am coming against them…I will establish righteousness in Washington, D.C. I will establish righteousness in this government; I will do it.
    • “Much will be revealed in the days to come, for these are the days of My wrath.”
    • “Woe to those who stand against Me in the days of My wrath.”
    • “These are the days of My wrath.”
  6. A Vision of Judgment & Revival: America, the U.S. Congress, California, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Alaska, Hawaii, Vancouver & Canada (December 21, 2024)
    • His command to me: “Tell those with ears to hear to get out of the state while they still can.”
    • The great and terrible judgment the Lord revealed to me in 2014 will come to San Francisco.
    • The Lord spoke, saying, “The judgment for L.A. is closer than you think.”
    • Jesus will wage war with California.
    • Together with Vancouver, Canada, California has set the “trend of evil around the world.”
    • Vancouver and California are like two evil sisters; they are the Sodom and Gomorrah of our day.
    • In the vision, I saw fire like burning sulfur released from Heaven against them to burn them like chaff.
    • Canada believes it is more righteous than America, but its righteousness is as filthy rags.
    • The Lord will roll up Canada like a piece of turf starting on the West Coast.
  7. Vision: The Dominoes of the Lord’s Wrath Against America Will Fall (January 12, 2025)
    • The Lord said, “The Church has no idea what I am about to bring against it.” He will bring judgment against pastors and others who refuse to listen to His voice, have spurned and grieved His Holy Spirit, and have preached falsehood to His people.
    • I saw the Lord standing on the West Coast, facing east, looking over America. The Lord then announced, “Judgment, destruction, and death!  You have resisted long enough!”  I then saw the Lord remove His sword from its sheath.  He raised His sword and held it out toward America while He continued to speak and spread His message across the country.
    • The Lord will bring simultaneous and multiple judgments against the United States, similar to what has been transpiring in China since 2020.
    • He said, “These are the dominoes of judgment that I said would come. They are lined up, and they will fall in the order I have set them up.  I am the One who set the dominoes up; they will fall in the way in the pattern and in the sequence that I have said that they would.”
    • The Church: “For those who call themselves the “Church” yet are not the Church but are false, will not fare as well.  I will rain destruction upon them.  I will bring their counsel to an end.  I will bring their falsehoods to an end.  I will bring their false prophets to an end.  I will bring those who call themselves “pastors,” who are nothing but wolves and are not pastors, to an end.  They will be removed from the earth.  I have girded Myself to move in wrath, to destroy, to kill, and to slaughter.”
    • I saw the Lord walking through America, trampling down and bringing destruction.
  8. The Wrath of the Lord Will Bring Ruination to Los Angeles (February 20, 2025)
    • I saw the Lord walking toward LA. His eyes were filled with fire, and his facial expression conveyed that he was consumed by wrath and rage against the city.
    • I then saw Him towering over LA, bringing complete and utter destruction to that city. He will not stop until there is nothing left.
    • Wave upon wave of judgment will be released against LA.
    • The deception of self-righteousness invites destruction, causing people to believe the Lord would never bring judgment against them.
