By the Spirit, I saw an entrance that had been presented to me at various times over the past two weeks. I had seen a similar vision approximately 10 years ago. In that vision, I was given a glimpse of the Ancient of Days, as the Lord is referred to the very first time in Daniel 7:3 –
Daniel 7:9–10 (NASB95) — 9 “I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. 10 “A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened.
In my spirit I knew I had been invited into the place where I believed I would have an encounter with the Lord, the Ancient of Days. Looking ahead to the entrance, there was a partial obstruction on the right that I would have to walk around, following a defined path, into the room I could only partially see. I then had the thought that I should shield my eyes because of the brightness that would be emanating from Him, so I did while also looking down.
What I walked into appeared to be an exceptionally large hall. As I entered, I heard a voice say, “Hallowed Hall.” As I stood there, looking to my right, I saw what might be called a cathedral style hall, but it was surprisingly very dark where much of it was obscured because of the shadows. Then, in front and above me, a great light appeared that became brighter and brighter; I knew it was the Lord.
Clearly the Holy Spirit is revealing that there is great darkness in His Church and He is the only One who can bring a remedy because He is the remedy. The enemy has infiltrated the Church due to the long-standing rebellion of pastors, leaders and lay people against the Holy Spirit. The Lord spoke to me years ago that many local “churches” had become the first line of the enemy’s defense against revival. Refusing to hear the voice of the Spirit of Christ or follow Him in obedience opens a church or denomination to spiritual darkness causing them to become temples of idols where doctrines of false light, doctrines of demons who work to deceive, are preached. Let us be careful with our language; temples of idols are not churches.
For many of these gatherings, the Glory of the Lord has long since departed because of the great sin of leaders that no longer preach the truth and the flock no longer desire it (I Samuel 4:21-22; Ps 106:20-43; Jeremiah 2:11; Ezekiel 10:18-11:13). I speak this by the Spirit.
Many churches across America stand in outright rebellion against the Holy Spirit. It is because of this that the Lord’s wrath has been kindled and great judgment will come against it and the leaders who have continually grieved the Spirit of Christ by their disobedience. The Lord will not allow these temples of idols to remain, with their fake facades appearing as churches, but are not. He loves the lost too much. I speak this by what the Spirit has already revealed to me.
My attention was then drawn back to what the Holy Spirit had called the Hallowed Hall. It had lofty ceilings and walls, again, that were similar in many respects to Christian cathedrals in Europe.
I then told myself that the Hall should not be dark, but it should be filled with the light because of Him, His presence and His Glory. The light that I first saw above me, was not yet affecting the darkness in the Hallowed Hall.
The reason the Glory of the Lord did not illuminate the hall was because it had to be cleansed and purified before He would return. The patterns of both the tabernacle and the temple were given to Moses, David and Solomon and had to be carefully built before the Lord came in His Glory (Ex 40:33-38; I Chron 5:11-14, 7:1-3, 28:11-12, 19). Both were built according to the design that came from the Lord to Moses and David (who gave them to Solomon). It is no accident that the Lord gave specific instructions to Noah as to how to build the ark to save himself, his family and the animals from the flood (Gen 6:13-22). So too, His supernatural Church must be maintained in purity, righteousness and holiness, where leaders stand in their true calling to minister to Him by listening to His voice and faithful to the Scriptures, following the Spirit of God in obedience as He flows like a mighty rushing River in and through His people.
As I continued to observe the hall, I asked Him what it was. When I did, I knew immediately that He was pleased. The Ancient of Days, Jesus, directed me to look again to my right to what had always appeared to be the front of the Hallowed Hall. When I did, I could immediately discern ahead of me the figure of a man, but it was his skeleton, where all the bones were still connected. He was kneeling, motionless, at what appeared to be an altar. His skeleton was wearing royal robes that reached the floor, and a crown sat upon his skull.
The Spirit then took me closer to the figure whose right hand, all bone with no flesh, pointed ahead and to the right. I then turned my gaze to where he pointed and saw a polished and gleaming altar cross that is used in many houses of worship, especially in high church services. The cross was sitting in the shadow and darkness and away from the altar area. I then heard the voice of the Lord say, “They have not preached the Cross or the sanctifying work of My Spirit.”
The Lord said, “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.” (Mt 10:38, NASB95) and then adding, “he must deny himself…” (Mt 16:24b) This is what the Lord says is not being preached from the pulpit, therefore, is it any wonder why the Church is in such a darkened state?! How can a Christian walk in obedience to the Lord and the Scriptures without the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, whose mission it is to walk alongside the believer, guiding him into all truth (Jn 14:26, 16:13-15). How can a gathering of people be called a “church” without following the Holy Spirit, when Jesus proclaimed that we must continually abide in Him (Jn 15:1-11), or risk becoming dead branches that will be thrown into the fire, lost for eternity!
No, we dare not call such gatherings “churches” even as the Lord has warned me not to call them “churches.” No, the gatherings of those who do not follow the Spirit, refuse to abide in Christ. One cannot abide in Christ without abiding in His Spirit! But in the darkened halls where currently the blind guide the blind into the pit (Mt 15:14), there are those who are the dry branches who will be gathered to be thrown away and cast into the fire and utter darkness if they do not repent of their grave sins (Jn 15:6). Unless they repent, the Lord will say on that day, “…I do not know you” (Mt 25:12), and ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness’” (Matthew 7:23), along with ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers.’” (Luke 13:27)
The Hallowed Halls will again be full of the Glory of God, as the Spirit of Christ removes the foolish leaders and their unrepentant followers, those who practice lawlessness (Mt 7:23) and those who cannot be classified by any other term other than evildoers (Lk 13:27), whitewashed tombs full of dead men’s bones, wicked, accursed ones (Mt 25:41), along with those who go to the ends of the earth to make a disciple who is twice the son of hell as they are (Mt 23:15), members of the first order of the “brood of vipers” (Mt 23:33). As it is written, “These are the men who are hidden reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted; wild waves of the sea, casting up their own shame like foam; wandering stars, for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever.” (Jude 12–13, NASB95) The great tragedy is each of these have deceived themselves into believing that they are righteous, having never learned obedience by putting to death the deeds of the flesh by the Spirit, and are now ripe for judgment, death and the eternal fires of Hell.
David penned the following, which is a call to all of us:
Psalm 24:7-10 (NASB95) – 7Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in! 8Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. 9Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in! 10Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.
We, Church, are the gates that make the decision as to whether or not we will allow the King of Glory to come in, by yielding to the Spirit of Christ and allowing Him to do the work of cleansing and purifying our hearts.
The Church has long forgotten who the King of Glory really is. David, with great purpose, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit focused on a key attribute of who He is: He is strong and mighty…and He is mighty in battle. He has never lost a battle and there is no one that can stand against Him and win. The Lord spoke a warning to all of us a few years back, saying to me, “Woe unto those who stand against Me in the day of My wrath!”
The Church would do well to fear the Lord for He is moving in wrath and He will cleanse His Hallowed Halls. His winnowing fork (Lk 3:17), axe (Lk 3:9), His whip (Mt 21:12||Jn 2:15) are still at His disposal. If that isn’t enough, He will bring His sword to strike down those who dare to stand against Him. We will undoubtedly witness the return of the discipline of the Lord to cleanse His house, even to the extent that He purged the early Church of the deception committed by Ananias and Sapphira on the Lord’s day (Acts 5:1-11). Whatever it takes, the Lord will cleanse and purify His hallowed halls from the dirt and grime of unrighteousness and sin. Buildings don’t sin; the people in them do.
I then saw Jesus standing to the right of the altar. He then said, “These are the Hallowed Halls that I would reclaim,” indicating that the Hall represented His Church.
Hearing this, out of the depths of my being I began to weep. For years I have cried out to the Lord praying that I missed being able to sit in a church sanctuary in the presence of His Holy Spirit. But we live in a time when the Church has refused entry to the Holy Spirit, standing in rebellion to Him. Because of that, He has commanded me not to participate with them, but to warn them.
I have cried out asking Him to build His Church and to remove those that have no desire to follow Him yet call themselves leaders who refuse to allow His Spirit to enter. I have called upon Him repeatedly, “Take back the buildings they have stolen!”
Jesus then said, “I will break the leader’s power,” and when He did, the bones of the skeleton figure, that I now understood represented leaders (pastors and others) across the Church, disconnected from each other and fell to the ground.
The skeleton figure speaks of the Pharisees and Sadducees of our day, pastors, other ministers and elders, who Jesus spoke of saying the following:
Matthew 23:27–28 (NASB95 emphasis mine) — 27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 “So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
He then said, “Be at peace. I will reclaim the Hallowed Halls.”
The spirit of Saul that manifests in pastors and other leaders, who currently have power in the Church but no longer follow the Lord (I Samuel 15:11), will be broken, and those who know the Lord and follow hard after the Holy Spirit and His word, who have been given authority by the Lord because they have been tested and found faithful and have learned by cultivating their spiritual sensitivity, move in His supernatural power. It is these that will be installed in the positions He has created precisely for them. They will be brought forth and promoted from the rear ranks of the Army of the Lord, who like David are unknown, unnoticed, widely disregarded and unrecognized by man.
I then saw Jesus take a broom and sweep the dead bones of the skeleton out of the door to the left and out of the Hallowed Hall. He then said, “I will clean My Hallowed Halls.” When He said this, my eyes were opened to dirt and grime on the walls. He continued saying, “Be at peace, for I will clean the dirt and the grime of sin that has accumulated for generations.”
John the Baptist spoke of Jesus’ ministry:
Luke 3:16–17 (NASB95, emphasis mine) — 16 John answered and said to them all, “As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 17 “His winnowing fork is in His hand to thoroughly clear His threshing floor, and to gather the wheat into His barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
The truth of the matter is that His weapons of judgment never leave His hands; He stands to purify and judge His people. This vision is but one I have received confirming the Holy Spirit’s intention to cleanse His Church and to purge leaders that will not listen to His voice and have blocked Him from moving in power to minister in and through His Body to a lost and dying world. As He has said to me, “It is no small thing they have done.” Some leaders will be struck down; others will be demoted from their positions of leadership and benched, until they learn to recognize the Lord’s voice and submit to the Holy Spirit.
In a previous vision by the Spirit, I have seen pastors that have walked in disobedience for so long, they were encased in an armor of darkness, where their breastplate was layered with finely tooled leather, each layer added when they said, “No” to the Holy Spirit. They had walked in darkness for so long they were no longer in control, for the Devil had taken control because ground had been given to him through their disobedience. Paul warns us not to give the devil any opportunity, literally “any place” (Eph 4:7 NASB95). But then I witnessed the Lord, in full armor, take out His sword and place the point upon the black armor that encased the pastor. Thrusting it in, the black armor fell to the feet of the pastor who was immediately set free.
The deliverance of pastors from the encased darkness they walk in will send spiritual shock waves weakening the power of the enemy, allowing other pastors trapped in darkness, along with those who follow them, to be set free and placed in the light of God’s Glory.
His message to leaders is simple: Change or Perish!
By the Spirit it has been revealed that some churches are marked for closure. Some leaders will be delivered and others, as in this vision, the Spirit of Christ will purge existing leadership and cleanse His Hallowed Halls, in preparation to feed and water His flock. He will install obedient pastors and leaders that have proven themselves worthy and faithful, having learned to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and are obedient to His voice. They will move in demonstrations of the Holy Spirit’s power, allowing Him to do whatever He wants to do, whenever He wants to do it and through whomever He desires to flow through.
Those pastors that have been delivered from the darkness and reinstated must be watched carefully. Some will turn again to the darkness to gain followers, drawing many away. The Lord will bring swift judgment to these leaders for there will be no remedy for them.
In this vision I watched as He ushered His sheep through the open door of the Hallowed Hall. The floor of the hall then was a lush, green pasture and the sheep were transformed into people. I saw them rejoicing and feasting in the presence of Jesus who was there at the front of the hall, full of joy and satisfaction as He watched and listened to His people rejoice.
Jesus then turned to me and said, “It brings Me great joy to prepare a place for My people to gather and rejoice in Me.” Immediately the vision changed, giving me the perspective of looking down upon the United States. I saw many Hallowed Halls across the land, which were currently in darkness, ruled by the whitewashed sepulchers full of dead men’s bones. He will prepare a place for His people, where fresh water full of everlasting life, clean and pure, will be supplied in abundance from which His sheep can drink and be satisfied. I was deeply impressed and encouraged with the abundant supply of Living Water that will fill His Hallowed Halls.
He then said, “Does what you see bring you joy?” To which I replied, “Yes, Lord, it does!” He then instructed me to write down what I had seen and to distribute it freely to all with ears to hear.
Amen and Amen!
