Daniel 9:13–14 (NASB95)

13 “As it is written in the law of Moses, all this calamity has come on us; yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our iniquity and giving attention to Your truth. 14 “Therefore the LORD has kept the calamity in store and brought it on us; for the LORD our God is righteous with respect to all His deeds which He has done, but we have not obeyed His voice.

You can’t explain it any better than Daniel.  Judgment is not “Made in China”, which is not to say the Lord’s releasing the virus in Wuhan wasn’t strategic.  Strike Wuhan and you strike the heart of China. Strike China’s economy and you strike the economic heart of the world.

The Lord didn’t wake up and say, “Well, I really hadn’t calculated that the virus would hit the rest of the world. I wonder what I should do about that?!”

The Lord’s intent has been to break the government of China as well as the economic chains that bind America and that nation. The Lord will systematically demolish China’s economic and financial sectors. This is only the beginning of what the Lord has planned. The dominoes have been set up for China as well the other nations of the world.

Calamity…it’s the perfect word for what we are going through.  The first thing we need to do is get out of our denial.  Second, we need to understand what the Bible has to say about judgment, both Old and New Testament, and believe what it says.  Third, repent of our pride, arrogance and self-righteousness and seek the Lord’s forgiveness.  We can’t blame the devil for this; he isn’t authorized to release judgment.
