In a vision I was walking along a seashore and saw Jesus up ahead sitting on a small wooden pier fishing with a pole.  From the look on His face I could tell that He didn’t enjoy this type of fishing.  I was then given the understanding that He doesn’t fish with bait other than Himself – He is the bait for all of mankind.  Fishing with a single pole is not His idea of fishing.

I then saw a picture that was deep beneath the surface of the water.  The sun was shining through and there, beneath the water, I saw Jesus standing.  A boat hull was clearly visible above Him and He was the One that was bringing fish to the boat.  The fish didn’t come to the boat because of the fishermen’s bait or tackle.  Jesus brought the fish to the boat.

I then saw multiple boats on the surface of the water.  Their hulls were clearly visible, but a few had additional, secondary hulls that completely covered and sealed the primary hull.  The boats that had a secondary hull were designed not to allow the Lord to come through and do His work.  They were built to shield themselves from the Lord.  The Lord went from boat to boat to see where He could bring the fish.  For those boats that had a shield, a second hull, He could not and would not bring fish for a catch.

The Spirit of the Lord is inspecting His churches to determine whether they are shielding themselves from Him and His ability to bring a miraculous catch.  The time has come to decide to remove the shields, the second hull, that we have crafted.

Let us decide to invite the Lord to come in and bring His catch.  He promised that He would make His disciples fishers of men if they followed Him (Matthew 4:19 ‖ Mark 1:17).  Let us decide now to follow Him so He can do what He promised He would do.
