Over the past week and a half, the Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about the disturbing and troubling events that all of us are witnessing.  This prophetic word which came on two occasions is for me if no one else.  I pray that it will be as much of an encouragement to you as it is to me.

Prophecy

The Lord says, “The enemy has been working, attacking on multiple fronts and advancing from all sides.  If you feel surrounded, it is because you are.  But, I will enter into the battle and I will stop the enemy’s advance; he will be defeated.  You remember that in the days of Hezekiah, he prayed and I sent an angel that destroyed 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians in one night (2 Kings 19).  I will swoop down like a powerful bird of prey into a dark field filled with mice.  Similar to mice, the enemy, weak and powerless, will run from My presence.  I will land and he will retreat in multiple directions.

Do not think of Me as you would a man without a strategy or a plan.  I know the plans and the strategy of the wicked one.  I have seen them and planned for them long ago and from afar off.  I have planted seeds of revival that will spring up.  My power will be made manifest and like a camouflaged cannon hidden in a field, at the moment the enemy is in point-blank range, I will unleash My power and the enemy will be cut down.  I have planned for his defeat.  There is no plan or strategy that can stand before Me.  I will bring the enemy into confusion.”
