There has been a great deal of talk of late about the “establishment” with respect to the political arena in our country.  I can say that I have never heard it referred to in positive terms.  In my case I’m very conscious of another establishment that is far more sinister and deadly and it is within the Church; I cannot find a reason to praise it.  In order for the Great Commission to be accomplished it must be destroyed because it reeks of the demonic and death.  Thankfully there is a solution and it is one that Jesus spoke about.

In Matthew 7:16-20 Jesus stated plainly that we would know them by their fruits.  He spoke of a corrupt tree that brings forth evil fruit, and in our day this is exactly what the system, what I will for the moment call “organized religion” (the commonly known form of doing ministry within many Evangelical and Pentecostal churches that minister by their will, their own mind corrupted by human reason), has done and is doing.  Its leaders have consciously conspired against Heaven, choosing rebellion versus obedience to the Holy Spirit…while claiming to be His servant.  This type of twisted and perverted thinking, reminiscent of Jewish rulers that John the Baptist, Jesus and the Apostles confronted, is what you would expect from Hell; in the current mechanical, Franken-Church establishment, that expectation is fulfilled.

It is precisely for this type of corrupt establishment (or tree) that the fire of destruction is reserved for.  Those who are active participants of the establishment would do well to re-read the above passages of scripture and change.  No doubt change is always painful, but I would submit that it is far more painful to burn within the fire of God’s judgment which is certain to come.

May the Holy Spirit rid all of us of Hell’s pride-filled achievement – the Church establishment.
