Did you hear the joke about the pastor who wanted to be Pope? I’m afraid it isn’t a joke. The truth is far too many pastors have exceeded their authority in the Kingdom of God; they just don’t seem to “play” well with others. What they need to realize is that the Lord has already demonstrated, not only His willingness, but His powerful ability to take His sheep out from under one Pope’s rule during the Protestant Reformation. Rest assured history (His-story) is about to repeat itself.

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit is going to make that event look like a child’s game. A word to the wise–if your main goal in ministry is to keep the flock of Jesus Christ under your control, you’d better repent. Keeping the flock of Jesus Christ in bondage to your systems and programs is no laughing matter. Soldiers they are and soldiers equipped with Heaven’s mighty weapons they will be. I’m very sorry to say that He refuses to allow them to play in the sandbox anymore. He has also decided that they aren’t going around that mountain again that you seem to enjoy so much.

By the way, in case you were wondering, The Owner of the Vineyard is none too happy about the situation. The last time He spoke to me about it He wasn’t laughing at all; in fact, He wasn’t even smiling. You should know that His eyes were full of fire and His facial expression made it very clear that His heart was full of zeal to free His people.
